Why didn't anybody mention that today was Election Day? Honest to God, people should have been informed about this sooner because absolutely nobody has made a single mention of this in the past month. Why aren't people changing their status message to "ZOMG! ROCK THE VOTE!" or blogging furiously about it.

It's best to return under that rock; who in their right mind knew that today was 04-NOV?

Well I voted a month ago so up until last night I had no idea today was the day.

Heh. Yeah, your television is filtered much more than ours obviously. We cannot escape it. Radio, television, mailboxes, windows, buttons... It's everywhere. I'm not complaining but get thankful when it's all done and over.

Well CNN had a countdown and like every European station is doing massive coverage. More than they have done for any US election. The world wants to see what the US will do since the new president will really affect the global economy.

I don't disagree. Even Asia and South America are getting in on the act. They had some poll of a bunch of Chinese recently and many of them stated that they prefer Obama in office. Hugo Chavez down in Venezuela threw in his two cents by stating his prediction of Obama.

Yeah every channel I have seen here seems to favor Obama. Let's hope that works for most Americans too.

My favorite part so far today was finding a sign taped to the front door this morning. Apparently some idealist moron carbon copied about 10,000 signs he/she drew themselves and taped them on everyone's door in Lakeview reminding them to vote today.

Now if that same person had used the same amount of effort to say, commit suicide THEN the world might be a better place after today.

Are you serious? What lunatic would do that? Clearly it wasn't a girl because their shoes would be making too much noise and I didn't hear any late-breaking, we-interrupt-this-program news break about somebody almost getting raped this morning.

Lemmings don't have elections.

Neither do those Vilda-beats-that-ah-ha-somethings.

Under the rocks we go!

I love elections and politics. I get my rocks off at the drama and tension.

I personally, am sitting on pins and needles.

I enjoy politics, but I am rather displeased with how this campaign is becoming more of a gimmick and being marketed to people like an advertisement, rather than for the political process it ought to be.

LOL Is Wal-Mart giving away free health insurance to its employees that vote today?

Psst! BP is giving away a free gallon of gas to anybody who votes today.
4th-Nov-2008 08:25 pm (UTC)
Wal-Mart is giving away free health insurance ONLY if you vote the Republican ticket.

True, true...

And the same goes for the pharmaceutical companies. Is the NRA giving away free guns by chance? Oh, who are we kidding? They don't need an election for that.
